Bob Davis Gettin’ Chippy? Kind of? Maybe a little.
Tom Humphrey reports that Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey’s first campaign contribution for his GOP gubernatorial bid came from Franklin Sen. Jack Johnson - the city where Ramsey’s midnight fund raising kick-off was held in the wee hours this morning.
Humphrey also has some semi-combative verbiage from former TN GOP Party Chair Bob Davis about Ramsey’s campaign. Davis is working for Rep. Zach Wamp in the governor’s race.
“This is a long race,” said Bob Davis, chairman of the Wamp campaign. “You’re going to have your highs and your lows, and Ron is getting ready to experience all that.
“His best day will be tonight,” he said.
